cool experiment.
scullcap is pretty chill in my opinion.....relaxing, but not "stoning" in it's effects.
if you're just trying to get more moisture in your herbs, storing them in a sealed container with the peels of citrus fruit works.....it will absorb some of the moisture and taste somewhat like the fruit used.......lemon and grapefruit taste awesome

I was curious if they would be more potent. I know the fruit peel method well This will add moisture but mostly I want to find out if I can get enough essential oils from them to make it worth it.

I think it would be really cool to make a marijuana essential oil......wouldn't that make a spicy addition (in theory...lol)

Yes, agreed that would be a great essential oil and probably sell really well. However, due to the oil of the plant and the small parts of my equipment the clean up to get all traces of it out of the essential oil equipment while doable isn't really something I have time to do or would want to do (even though this isn't the first time I've thought about doing it lol). Plus the set up is for my business and if I did that I'd have to move to California and get a license but in Illinois is very clearly the first thing the authorities would search given I make no effort currently to hide my essential oil equipment. In other words the moment they legalize marijuana in Illinois is the moment I shall do this. But currently I'm being scrutinized enough without risking that... although granted it takes a lot for them to get a search warrant for my home and then they have to have cause to remove that equipment, then they have to actually test it, then that's assuming I'm an idiot that would leave any trace. Lol, but I'm not saying I'd do it <.< but yes it would be awesome. I mean can you imagine if people didn't have to smoke it? If they could just rub some on them like cologne and just get the benefits with non of the smoke related issues? It'd be great and I know the places in California that sell it legally sell the essential oils too for sure. With the oils in that plant it probably makes a good amount (similar to how much you could get from mint) of oil per pound of plant material and the plant grows fast and bushy... however, as it stands it is out of reach for me at the moment... because getting a pound of it has numerous other issues besides just the fact it is illegal... That gets expensive last I heard that ran about $1000 then if I'm caught with it they might make the case I'm a dealer and then I'm extra screwed. As it is now I have such a small amount that yes it'll still cause an issue but at least they cant claim I'm a dealer as easily as if they found a pound or more. Besides the fact I can easily make the amount I have disappear without a trace where a pound is harder to ditch.

Ok, saturday is the day I'm setting as the deadline to try out these essential oils. I will start with coltsfoot as that is the one I wish to make stronger (because it has the most interesting effect of all my collection so far).
