I'm not saying I did this but if I was to make an essence oil out of marijuana I'd say it works pretty well with canola oil and that there is supposedly a lovely brownie recipe. I'm not saying I'd try them but I do really like chocolate brownies... And oh yeah I totally made essence oil so I could make some brownies. Awesome but kinda took a while... I guess butter is faster but the oil hides it better... sort of. Anyways, the experience has allowed me to use the same process for some other herbs. Can't wait to try it for a basil spaghetti sauce mmm... However, perhaps I'll share the experience I have with the brownies. I've never tried to eat this before. Should be interesting. Obviously since I don't know the potency of the oil aside from seeing the coloring and knowing how much we put into the oil we wont be able to tell until we eat a brownie. I'm going to try a small piece and see how I like it first.
I'll let you know. And by the way I do not recommend it and I wont provide the recipe. I will tell you how the experience was. If I was to eat such brownies which I'm not going to... until tomorrow when I make them.

marijuana oil absorbs transdermally as well. I used to simmer cannabis in olive oil and massage it into my skin and it worked really well

Yes, I noticed that it does this. Kind of nice but now my house smells like canola oil mostly. It's like I made popcorn. Lol. I was in such a good mood after cooking this.
